Terms & Conditions for Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park
Park Policies and Safety Regulations are enforced for the safety and comfort of our guests. Adherence to park policies is necessary for park admittance. These policies enable our guests to have a safe, fun, and family-friendly experience.

01. Admission
What are the options for admission?
You may purchase admission by the day for a one-time visit, or you can purchase a season pass and enjoy fun for the whole season. Season pass availability is subject to change. Big Kahuna’s has specials listed on the home page when available!
Park Re-Entry
Do I need to pay if I am not swimming or I am just spectating?
Yes, Big Kahuna’s is a gated, participatory park and you will need a ticket for admission.
Use Your Online Tickets
Save time and money when you purchase tickets online.
No Printer? No Problem! Just present your confirmation barcode on your mobile device at any turnstile.
Group Discounts
Group discounts are available with advance reservation only. For information, contact Group Sales at 850-837-8319.
Are children under a certain age free?
What age is considered an adult?
Any individual 18 years of age or over is considered an adult.
02. Facilities and Amenities
Restrooms & Changing Rooms
Restrooms and changing areas for the Water Park are located on the entry walkway near First Aid, the Bombs Away Bay/Paradise Eats area, and near the Kowabunga Racers.
The Adventure Park restrooms are located to the right of the Skycoaster, just before the bridge to Tropical Golf.
Parking
The parking fee is $5.00 per vehicle per day. Bus parking is free with a group reservation.
Tubes & Life Jackets
There is no rental fee on tubes or life jackets.
Our life vests are U.S. Coast Guard approved floatation devices, and are available for use throughout the park at no charge.

Locker Rentals
Lockers are available for rent inside the Park. There are two locker size options available.
All-day lockers can be rented at the Locker Kiosks located across from the changing rooms on the entry walkway, across from Honolulu Halfpipe and at Bombs Away Bay.
Cabana Rentals
Cabana rentals can be reserved in advance online or at the park the day of your visit. We cannot take reservations over the phone.
In-Park Shopping & Dining
Don’t forget your towel and sunscreen! But if you do, just come see us at the Big Kahuna’s Tiki Gift Shop for these essentials plus clothing, jewelry, and souvenirs of all kinds.
We also have several areas where guests can purchase delicious food options throughout the park, so bring your appetite!
03. Safety Policies
We're Serious About Safety
Big Kahuna’s Water Parks offer a variety of activities for all ages. Park Policies, including those posted in the park and on the website, are enforced for the safety of our guests. Park does not assume any responsibility or liability for failure to adhere to Park Policies and safety rules.
Safety Rules
- Please comply with all safety rules and heed all warnings, verbal or written.
- Exercise good judgement
- Act in a responsible manner. If you see any unsafe activity or condition, please report it to management.
- Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will refrain from participation in or on any amusement attraction/ride.
- Illegal substances or Weapons of any kind are not permitted.
- No glass is allowed in the park
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Do not enter staff-only areas.
Life Jackets
At Big Kahuna’s we have life jackets for guests to use while enjoying our pools. Our US coast guard approved life jackets are available at all blue and green slides, all children’s pools, and our wave pool.
We have all sizes of life jackets to fit every guest. On the inside of the life jacket there is a weight range, please check to make sure your put on the correct size.
Need help finding a life jacket? Please ask a lifeguard or slide attendant if you need help finding a life jacket to fit you or anyone who needs one.
- Wear the correct size life jacket
- Please use all buckles, clips, and straps that are on the life jacket to ensure safety.
Minors
- Children ages 2 and under can join their family at the park free of charge.
- Children who are not toilet-trained are required to wear a swim diaper for health and safety reasons. Swim diapers are available in the gift shop.
Children under age 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for making decisions about which attractions are suitable for minors based on the child’s swim level.
Adults are not permitted to hold small children while riding attractions.
We strongly recommend that all minors (under 18) be accompanied by an adult. Park does not assume any responsibility or liability for unattended minors.
Height Restrictions
The Park offers a variety of activities for all ages. Height restrictions are posted for all attractions and strictly enforced. Review height requirements for individual attractions here:

04. Other Policies
Outside Food & Drinks
RAINY DAY WEATHER VISITS
Gray skies? Iffy forecast? No problem! Come out to Big Kahuna’s anyway! Savvy guests know the crowds are light when there’s a threat of rain. The lines are short. Waits are minimal. Do what you want, when you want.
Florida weather frequently changes within an hour or two. If the weather does get really ugly, we offer our Rain Check Guarantee:
If pools and waterslides are closed due to inclement weather for over an hour, and you have your receipt, you will be issued a FREE admission for a return visit during the current season.
If attractions reopen when weather clears, rain checks will be issued for only 30 additional minutes as you exit the park for the day. Guests will be eligible for the offer only as they exit the park for the day and possess a receipt.
NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Season Pass Holders do not qualify for Rain Checks. Ticket will be valid for the year they are issued.
Floatation Devices
Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted. Inflatable devices, as well as suits with attached or enclosed floats, are not permitted.

05. Group Booking
Group and Parties Booking Policies
At Big Kahuna’s Water Parks, we take your group’s fun seriously. Please read over these policies to familiarize yourself with our reservation and advance ticket procedure to make your group’s visit a complete success.
- A group with at least 20 paying individuals qualifies for a discounted group rate.
- 7 days advance notice is required for a group booking.
- 30 days advance notice is required for groups of over 50 people.
Groups Payment
Changes & Cancellations
If inclement weather occurs, groups may change their reservation by 8 a.m. the morning of their scheduled visit by calling the Group Sales Office at (850) 837-8319 or by emailing [email protected].
If your group’s visit needs to be rescheduled for a different day, please call us as soon as possible. For reasons other than inclement weather, you must call the Group Sales office at 850-837-8319 at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled visit to change or cancel your reservation.
Group Booking Checklist:
- Have the following info ready when you call to book your group reservation:
- Contact information for the group's representative
- Number of guests in your group. (Children under 2 are free.)
- Catering Meal option ( if choosing). The whole group receives the same catering option.
- Charter or school bus? Let our specialist know your expected time of arrival, and if the bus will be staying during your event so that we may reserve a bus parking space.
- Form FL DR-14 (If Florida Sales Tax Exempt)

Cabana Rentals
Cabana rentals can be reserved in advance online or at the park the day of your visit. Cabana rentals are subject to availability. Deposit will be required for advanced reservations.
